On one side is a map of Sri Lanka, with relief shading, spot heights and names of mountain ranges and peaks presenting the topography. Road network indicated partly surfaced roads and includes minor local roads and tracks. Driving distances are marked on main routes. Railway lines and local airports are included, and the map also shows internal administrative boundaries with names of the provinces. National parks or protected areas and various other places of interest, including numerous beaches, are highlighted. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at intervals of 30’. The map has no index. Map legend includes English.
Half of the reverse side is taken by a large, clear street plan of central Colombo, indicating the city’s sights, facilities and selected tourist accommodation. Smaller street plans cover central Kandy, Jaffna, Galle, Anuradhapura and Negombo.
